The Flower Moon Gathering

A full moon in the sky with flowers around one edge.jpg

Thursday, May 23, 2024

7:00 to 9:00 PM

Through the ages, the full Moon in the month of May has had many names.  The Indigenous peoples in North America have called it ‘the Budding Moon. Planting Moon, or Egg Laying Moon. Celtic names included Hare Moon or Mother’s Moon.  I like the name Flower Moon (most common), as it brins to mind the flowers that begin blooming in spring.  It means that summer will soon be here!

This year's  Flower Moon, happening in May is an excellent time period to reassess and re-commit to long-term goals and personal beliefs.

Join us in celebrating our feminine energy on the eve of this full flower moon!

The Summer Solstice marks the official start of Summer and the time when the earth is closest to the sun.  It is when we, here in North America, can finally enjoy the warmth of the sun and the longer days.

This is also a time to celebrate the energetic forces of the sun in harmony with the Earth and the natural world.

We will enjoy ritual, music, dance, and friendship at this outdoor Solstice  Celebration!
